He married Geraldine Joan Hotchkin at Washington, Warren County, NJ, USA, on 11 March 1955. Byron Holt Bogart died on 13 February 2011 at Warren County, NJ, USA, at age 80. Byron H. Bogart, formerly of Hampton, NJ, died at his home in Lopatcong Township, on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011. He was 80 years old. He was born in Hampton to Lyman H. and Alice Hornbaker Bogart. He was a graduate of Hampton High School.

He had worked as a manager of Brockway Plastics in Belvidere, and then as a fork lift operator when Brockway opened its warehouse in Broadway.

Byron loved playing cards and tending to his garden. He was proud of the flowers and vegetables that he grew.

He attend the Musconetcong Valley Presbyterian Church in Hampton.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Hotchkin Bogart; two daughters, Brenda Ciallella of Mountainside and Debra William of Belvidere; and six grandchildren, Josh, Jonathan, Brian, Heather, Jeff and Andrew.

     Cassine was born at Fallsburgh, Sullivan County, NY, USA, on 10 August 1872. Age 27 at the 1900 census. The day 10th comes from Geoffrey Brown.. She was the daughter of Daniel Reynolds Bonnell and Sarah Ann (Sally) Hotchkin. She married Eugene Cross at Neversink, Sullivan County, NY, USA, on 30 October 1895. Cassine died on 22 March 1956 at Liberty, Sullivan County, NY, USA, at age 83. She was buried at Liberty Cemetery, at Liberty, Sullivan County, NY, USA.

     The information on this family comes directly from Geoffrey Brown's book, as this is his direct line. The marriage of May and Eugene had been scheduled to be held at the Bonnell Family farm but was held instead at Neversink as Eugene had the measles.
     They owned and operated a store in the village of Neversink Flats. Eugene also taught school and was involved in the conservation law enforcement. Around 1905, the couple decided to move to Burns, OR on a land grant that they had obtained. They sold the store in Neversink and traveled west as far as the railroads ran to Vale, OR and then continued by stagecoach traveling around the clock. At 3 AM, May determined that they would go no further; they transferred to the return stage and returned to Neversink via the Southern Pacific Railroad through Portland, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Antonio, Washington, DC, New York City, and Liberty, and opened a new store in competition to the one that they had just sold.
     May was actively involved with her husband in running the dry goods side of the store, performing most of the buying function on her twice a year trips to New York City. When on these trips, she stayed with Anna Kortright Apple, granddaughter of her mother, Sarah Ann Hotchkin, in New Rochelle. She suffered from degenerative arthritis in her later years, and died of heart disease. A resolution of respect from her local Rebeckan Lodge erroneously gives her date of death as 23 March 1956. Eugene also died of heart disease. Much of the information came from the recollections of their daughter, Helen Cross Brown.

     Charlotte Louise Bonnell was born on 24 September 1914 at Liberty, Sullivan County, NY, USA.¹ She was the daughter of Jay W. Bonnell and Alice Green. Charlotte Louise Bonnell died on 29 October 1969 at Binghamton, Broome County, NY, USA, at age 55.
Afton - Miss Charlotte Bonnell, 55, of Algerine Street, Afton, died at Binghamton General Hospital on Wednesday, October 29, 1969, following an extended illness. Funeral services were held on Saturday at Karschner Funeral Home, Afton, with Rev. Richard Heaphy, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery, Afton. Miss Bonnell was a Bellevue graduate of nursing in the New York State Nursing Association. Survivors include her mother Alice (Green) Bonnell of Afton; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Helen) Barnes of Port Dickenson and Mrs. Jean Moore of Afton..¹ She was buried at Glenwood Cemetery, at Afton, Chenango County, NY, USA.

He married Sarah Ann (Sally) Hotchkin at Liberty, Sullivan County, NY, in 1870. The date is given in US and International Marriages 1560 -1900.. Daniel Reynolds Bonnell died on 31 August 1894 at Liberty, Sullivan County, NY, at age 70. Gravestone says 1874..³ He was buried at Fallsburg Neversink Cemetery, at Neversink, Sullivan County, NY, USA.

     He was the son of William Bonnell, a Miller in Liberty, NY. He was first married to Sophia Hardenburgh, who died in 1868, per the Bonnell tombstone in Velie Cemetery, and later he married the housekeeper of his motherless children, Sarah Ann Hotchkin. Daniel died by suicide as he was despondent over his eye sight and a Note, that he and James Schoonmaker had co-signed, and that a close friend, Benjamin W. Winner, had left him obligated for. Ben W. Winner was a man with a lot of influence in Liberty. He was the Sheriff for many years and ran a Wood and Brick yard which fell on bad times. Winner was first convicted of fraud and then later acquitted and sued all participances for many years. The case was still in court as late as 1900. Daniel cut his throat with his straight razor while shaving.^4,5
